National Ferret Rescue

Welcome to National Ferret Rescue.

On this site you will find information about current and past rescue efforts as well as information related to ferret wellness. We welcome you to peruse our site and come back often as this site is constantly growing.

The purpose of this site is to coordinate efforts during disasters and LARGE scale rescues. If you simply wish to surrender a ferret or two, please review the State Resources area to find a rescue organization in your area. Thanks for your understanding.

There are two boards that support this site.

The first is the National Ferret Rescue board and it is open only to individuals that have joined the NFR site to offer aid and resources in the event of a catastrophic event or natural disaster. You can join by clicking the link above. The board is here:

http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/nationalferretrescue/

The second board is Ferrets United Rescue Resources or FURR. The purpose of FURR is to have a place to communicate smaller rescue information not related to natural disasters or catastrophic events. FURR is a non moderated group but membership is granted by request in order to keep out the spammers. FURR can be found here:

http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/furr/

National Ferret Rescue is creating a database of resources in material and manpower to be mobilized in the event disaster strikes or for large scale rescues.

Join Us! Please click the Join Us link  above to fill out a form to help support National Ferret Rescue's efforts. Filling out the form does not obligate you to assist or donate to any rescue efforts but does ensure you will be contacted and offered every opportunity to assist where you are needed. Every effort counts!

Your information will never be published, sold or otherwise abused. You may update your profile at any time by filling out another form.

THANK YOU for supporting the efforts of National Ferret Rescue!
